The US demands that Ukraine withdraw its troops from Donetsk.
Ngày 15/12, một nguồn thạo tin cho biết trong vòng hòa đàm tại Berlin (Đức), các nhà đàm phán của Mỹ đã khẳng định rằng phía Ukraine cần chấp thuận rút quân khỏi khu vực Donetsk và nhấn mạnh vấn đề lãnh thổ là vấn đề then chốt đối với Nga.

Nguồn tin cho biết, hiện vấn đề lãnh thổ vẫn chưa được giải quyết và phái đoàn Ukraine trong ngày 14/12 cho biết điều này cần được thảo luận thêm.
Cùng ngày, Thư ký Hội đồng An ninh và Quốc phòng Ukraine Rustem Umerov tiết lộ giới chức nước này và Mỹ đã đạt được “tiến triển thực chất” trong vòng đàm phán tại Berlin.
Trong bài đăng trên mạng xã hội X, ông Umerov đánh giá phái đoàn của Mỹ đang làm việc hết sức mang tính xây dựng “để giúp Ukraine tìm ra con đường hướng tới một thỏa thuận hòa bình lâu dài”.
On December 15, a source familiar with the matter said that during peace talks in Berlin, Germany, US negotiators affirmed that Ukraine needed to agree to withdraw its troops from the Donetsk region and emphasized that the territorial issue was a key point for Russia.

The source said that the territorial issue remains unresolved, and the Ukrainian delegation stated on December 14 that further discussion was needed.
On the same day, the Secretary of the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council, Rustem Umerov, revealed that Ukrainian and US officials had achieved “substantive progress” in the Berlin talks.
In a social media post, Umerov assessed that the US delegation was working very constructively "to help Ukraine find a path toward a lasting peace agreement."
